Day 3 — Your Self-Reliance Makes Sense

I see how capable you’ve become.
You learned early not to ask for too much.
Not to need too loudly.
Not to depend fully.
That wasn’t rebellion.
That was wisdom for the environment you were in.
Self-reliance kept you alive.
Awareness kept you safe.
Independence protected your heart.
I am not disappointed in the ways you survived.
I honor them.
But survival is not the same as rest.
You don’t have to stop being strong for Me to love you.
And you don’t have to stay strong forever to remain safe.
I am not threatened by your independence.
I am patient with it.
When you are ready—even just a little—I will meet you there.
Not to take your strength away, but to give you somewhere safe to set it down.
